calculateboardfeet.com is a small, fast set of lumber calculators built around one unit: the board foot. No sign-ups, no uploads — every calculation runs in your browser, and your tally is stored only on your own device.
The whole site is static: no accounts, no database, no server watching your keystrokes. Each calculator is a small, tested piece of arithmetic that runs locally — the same code path is exercised by an automated test suite against worked examples from the extension literature (for instance, a 16″ × 12′ log must scale exactly 108 board feet on Doyle before we ship). Pages are deliberately lightweight so they load fast on a phone in a lumber yard with one bar of signal, and every tool page prints cleanly — the tally slip and the chart are designed to be paper before they're pixels.
It is not a store, not a broker, and not a substitute for your supplier's tally. Log rules in particular are estimates by design — two honest scalers can read the same log a few board feet apart — so treat every figure here as planning math. Where a page carries affiliate links to tools we discuss, that page says so plainly.
Found a number that disagrees with your mill's tally book? We want to know: hello@calculateboardfeet.com. Estimates on this site are for planning — confirm quantities and prices with your supplier before purchase.
